Last week was a mix of things. People getting hurt, scoping stuff to shoot and driving a lot. Here’s some random shots of that.
Last week I went to pick up my truck and sled after been in storage for almost a year. My friend pull them out just before the storm, so I had to shovel for a while, but the next day we took the sleds for a ride a it was totally worth it. Actually it was so fun that we came back quite late, dragging 1 sled which run out of gas. Good times.
The TWS Awards aligned with the SIA in Denver for this year, so everybody was there, everybody but the X Games people.
For the first year in Denver after Vegas, the SIA 2010 was full on. It’s really busy and overwhelming, quite an experience for sure.
So to kick off this X Games week, Red Bull hosted a party at the Oakley House in Aspen, Colorado. Nice dinner + Open Bar + X Games People, you can do the math.
First day at the X Games, I’ve been before but I’m always impress. This time was for the wrong reasons tho.
So it was time to pack up and get in the plane. What it supposed to be a mellow trip ended up being an long as nightmare thanks to LAN. After the Auckland Experience I though that all the problems were over. I was so wrong. Anyway after 2 delayed flights, a connection lost and 33 hours later I finally arrived.
Quick session at Heavenly, Nick Poohachoff needed a few shots, so we started at the park, waitin for the weather to clear.
Then Spencer Falls showed up and we went to hit this mini jump. Here’s the boys doin some team work.
Jumps done, shots done and some happiness all around the place, hahaha, can you see?
Day off from the resort, but not from snowboarding!. After hours urban session. First, the spot above, a picture of the run in that Nick Poohachoff is workin on.
And then another spot, a skinny round wood rail. Aaahhh!!!. Scary. Stefi Luxton stoked on the rail.
The looks from the run in. Pretty tight.
Yeap, that’s right, a Rail Jam hosted by a Casino. It’s Nevada baby. Actually the name should be Box Jam. I decided not to shoot, so I was foolin around with my point and shoot. Good fun, nothing serious. Here’s a gallery.
And a couple of videos.
